To anyone who has followed Jak’s Journey with me

Jak died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 5:40 PM.  He is one of the coolest people I have ever met, and I will never forget him.  I’d say more, but I don’t have the energy right now.  I love you, Jak.  Keep on raising Hell up there in Heaven.

Just got home from a prayer service for Jak.

If you have no idea what I’m even talking about, you can see the original post I made here.

The prayer service was very nice with plenty of people there.  I’m so glad so many people care about him and want him to recover.  This is such a shock that something so terrible is even happening.  I’m hoping with every fibre of my being that he gets better.  Thank you all who have prayed for him or kept him in your thoughts.  It means a lot to me and all his family and friends.  I’m sure it means a lot to him too.

Again, thanks, guys!  Keep hoping for that miracle.

Alright, guys.  This is important.  Jak is a good friend of mine.  He’s someone I’ve known most of my life, and he’s one of the coolest people I know.  He’s funny, witty, creative, and unafraid to speak his mind.

On Monday June 25, 2012, Jak ate some french fries that had been fried in peanut oil.  Jak has always had a severe peanut allergy. He is currently in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and is in “critical, yet stable” condition.  It’s bad.  He’s had two heart attacks and has little to no brain activity.

Please, I’m asking you guys to do anything you possibly can to help, even if it’s just keeping him in your prayers, whatever religion you are.  He needs all the help he can get right now, and so does his family.  If you guys are able to donate to help pay his medical expenses, it would be amazing, but if not, please keep him in your hearts.  Thanks.

Jak, I love you, man.  I really hope you make it through this, buddy.
